Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. His first appearance on television Evans portrayed roles including Opposite sexuality in the year 2000. In 2005, after appearing in Not Another Teen Movie and Fantastic Four (and its sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer 2007), he was recognized for his role as Marvel Comics hero The Human Torch. Evans appeared in further films based on comics and graphic novels such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he gained more recognition as Captain America/Steve Rogers. This was a part of Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014 as well as Captain America: Civil War. He also was as Captain America in The Avengers Age of Ultron 2015. Avengers: Infinity War 2018 and Endgame 2019. Because of his Marvel film work, he was one of the highest paid actors on the planet.
